Hi Diane, could you introduce yourself and your role at Signum Solutions and tell us a little bit about what your company does?

My name is Diane Harvey and I head up the marketing for Signum Solutions. We are a specialist SAP Business One partner in the UK, predominantly dealing with manufacturing, wholesale, and food industries. So at Signum, we don’t really see ourselves as software sellers-we’re more business problem solvers who just happen to use a piece of software to do that. Everything we do is built around SAP Business One; it’s the only product we work with, and that dedication allows us to go deeper into the problems and deliver real business value rather than just focusing on a software solution.

Okay, and what are some of the biggest challenges your customers face and how does Signum Solutions help solve those?

What we’ve found amongst our customer base, especially within the UK, is that businesses just want to do more with less. They’re often dealing with disconnected systems, manual processes, a lack of visibility into what they’re doing, and a lot of siloed departments. So what we provide them is a tool that brings everything all together so they can have a full view of what’s going on in the business at every point in time. It helps more with business planning, forecasting, and supports business growth. Basically, what we really do is help them streamline their processes, get real-time insights, and help them make decisions faster. It’s not just about the software-it’s giving them the tools to be able to grow their business.

And thinking about what you’ve just said, what are your goals for the business moving forward?

We’re really focused on growth at the minute, but that’s not just growth for ourselves-it’s also growth for our customers. Our goal is to keep delivering real, measurable value to our customers, especially to the market, helping them navigate the whole digital transformation journey.

How has working with Greenlight Computers helped support your business objectives?

We’ve worked with Greenlight Computers on several projects now, and we’re very, very collaborative. But one example that stands out is we have a mutual client, a food manufacturer based in Manchester. We actually did the software upgrades, and Greenlight looked after all the IT infrastructure side and upgraded all that. It just went so smoothly-it was such an easy process to work with. From our point of view and from Greenlight’s point of view, the end result was just a very satisfied customer. We’ve also been to several events with Greenlight as well, like the Manchester Tech event. It’s good because our offerings kind of complement each other. We look after the software and the ERP side-we don’t touch the infrastructure side, and that’s where Greenlight steps in and says, “All right, you do the software side, we’ll do the infrastructure side,” and it just works.

Yeah, sounds like a brilliant little partnership you’ve got going on.

It is, and it’s something we’re looking to strengthen going forward because it’s really good to have a company that fills that gap for us. As I say, we don’t touch the infrastructure side-we only look at the software. So to have a company that we can rely on and that gets it right first time is only a bonus to us and our customers.
