In many ways dealing with public sector organisations is no different from any other business. Often the IT infrastructure is exactly the same but the difference comes in the nature of the specialist applications and business processes used. Greenlight Computers focusses on IT services, in partnership with specialist application providers who require localised technical skill in order to implement change.
We specialise in offering IT support services to local public sector bodies who are often below critical mass in terms of internal IT skills. Our objective is to work in long term partnership with the local agency to handle project workload, staff cover, technical emergencies, relocations, implementations, basic maintenance and to offer independent advice on choice of hardware and software solutions.
Our vision is that the combination of public sector IT team and Greenlight local team could create a much stronger local delivery unit in support of the local community they serve. We believe we offer a real opportunity for local public sector agencies to create savings and safeguard services without politically complex cross boundary mergers.
