Interim Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
As Directors do you understand the investments you are making in technology? Do you know if you are getting value for money? Have you got an IT plan that supports your business strategy? These are among the questions that a 21st century business needs to be sure about, but employing a full time CTO is expensive. We retain the services of a select group of senior level experts who can provide this support on a part time/shared service basis. Typical engagements are on average one day per month.
IT Strategy Development
The majority of businesses have three main IT areas to develop & maintain: the IT computer, network & telephony infrastructure, the line of business applications specific to the business and the e-marketing required to sell. Our experts can work with your business to build an IT strategy and budget for up to three years and then work with you to implement if required.
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
Has your business got a viable Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity plan for the day it’s needed? Are you offsite backups regularly checked? You can spend a great deal of money on this area but Greenlight believes that a little good planning can be just as effective & far less wasteful. For most businesses re-establishing your data on new servers, re-directing your email services, enabling staff to work from home & getting your business trading again can all be achieved quickly.
Specifying Requirements & Selecting Solutions
If you know your business needs a change of technology but you don’t have the skills in house to define your requirements & source the solution we can help. Particularly in the selection of expensive software applications a bit of additional experience in your corner will help you make the right choices & help ensure that the chosen solution integrates with you existing technology base.
