Mobile IT Support Technician

Role: Computer field service technician(s)

Location: Manchester

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Computer Field Service Technician to join our Computer Support Service team. Candidates must have at least 18 months experience of working in a computer field service based role and be able to demonstrate evidence of having supported pc’s, servers and networks.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • MCSE / MCP /CCNA qualifications
  • experience of Exchange, DNS, WINS, DHCP
  • Server 2003/2008 implementation experience
  • experience of 2nd/3rd line support,
  • experience of design, install and repair of hardware (and associated software)
  • Apple MAC, Linux, Citrix knowledge would be an advantage

Good communication skills are essential. Candidates will work from home, primarily servicing clients within a 10 mile radius of home. Candidates applying must live within 10 mile radius of Manchester. Full clean driving license is essential.
